A few faqs
-
That’s normal.
These sessions aren’t about how your home looks.
They’re about how your life feels while you’re living in it.Nothing needs to be cleaned or rearranged for me to photograph what matters.
-
They don’t need to.
There’s no expectation for anyone to behave a certain way.
Kids can be loud, shy, restless, or completely uninterested. That’s part of the story.
-
No.
You don’t need a list or a plan.
Ordinary routines are more than enough.I follow what’s already happening.
-
We spend a little time getting to know each other.
I arrive, we talk, and I get a sense of how the day is unfolding.
There’s no rush to start photographing. As things settle in, the camera becomes part of the background and the day continues as usual.
-
Whatever you normally wear.
Clothes that feel like you will look like you later.
There’s no need to match or coordinate unless you already do. -
Yes.
Grandparents, visiting relatives, or close friends are welcome if they’re part of the day.
Just let me know ahead of time.
-
Usually at home.
Sometimes in a nearby park, neighborhood, or place you already spend time.
The location should feel familiar, not new—unless it’s a new home! :)
-
Earlier is better, especially for longer story lengths and depending on the time of year.
That said, shorter sessions can sometimes be scheduled with less notice.
Reach out when you’re ready and we’ll see what’s possible.
-
Enough to tell the story of the time we spend together.
I focus on cohesion rather than volume.
-
No.
I don’t ask anyone to repeat moments or look a certain way.
I observe and photograph what unfolds.
-
Send a note.
We’ll talk through what you’re looking for and decide on a story length together.
There’s no pressure to commit right away.
